Elizabeth Freid Vocke has worked in public relations for more than 15 years. Most recently, she worked for leading international PR firm, Hill+Knowlton Strategies. For more than 11 years Elizabeth led local, state and national accounts, specializing in healthcare and retail communications. While at H+K, Elizabeth’s expertise included strategic planning, media relations, digital media and video production. Her accounts included International Plaza, W.S. Badcock Corporation, VITAS Healthcare, and US Oncology, among many others. Elizabeth lead the team for Badcock’s Centennial celebration, winning a PRSA national Silver Anvil Award. Prior to H+K, Elizabeth worked for The Innovation Groups, a non-profit geared toward helping local governments succeed. As with most non-profits, Elizabeth helped with just about anything happening in the communications department, but primarily wrote the organization’s newsletters and communications materials, and created and produced satellite training events. Before the Innovation Groups, Elizabeth worked as a writer/producer for D.C. based television production company, DWJ Television. Elizabeth graduated from Florida State University with a degree in English/Creative Writing. She has lived in Tampa for more than 15 years and grew up close by, in Lakeland.
